3 Different Styles with Mini-skirt

Some inspirations on how to style a basic mini-skirt

Tout d'abord, im not a fashion blogger or fashion stylist or fashion student or even a celebrity.  I aint Sophia Amoruso tho i adore her. I don't see any high-brand references, im not that filthy rich. Basically im that kind of simple ergonomic girl lol. I just find some fun when playing with mix n match some outfits. Im not declaring that my style references is the lit-est or the hype-est, mine sucks and basic actually. Cards on the table, i just want to share my ideas. Allons-nous commencer?

There's a lot of mini-skirt types, the flare ones, pencil skirt, A-line skirt, or kind of tennis skirt. Somehow, a standard mini skirt could be a go-to starter pack. I'd prefer jeans honestly, but cotton skirt would be interesting to play with. So here we go!

Formal occasion: "I wanna look formal and modest but not too rigid, just a little bit of fun and young"

Actually it depends on the occasion, usually formal occasion have certain dresscode like it must be in black and white or anything. But if it's not, you're lucky! so you don't have to dress like going to funerals. Black high-heels i think would suited the most with the outfit for balancing the blazer color.


The second one is called "I wanna hangout with my friends in Saturday night, and I wanna look casual but not that kind of lazy-casual with sweater and jeans but simple and cute but not too girly" style.

This one is my favorite. Life never goes anything wrong with T-shirt and sneakers, basically basic. I don't like that kind of T-shirt that are loose and thin and tight and a big picture at the front. I'd prefer a very plain t-shirt or with a few text will be fine. T-shirt colors i guess i'd choose plain black or white. I doubted for any bright color, but if you wanna go colorful just pick a yellow T-shirt. Yellow and black are just a perfectly two sides of coin.


Third, the "I already go with too much T-shirt this week so i wanna try a button shirt in a casual way for hangout in Sunday" style.

This is my new addiction: a tropical summer shirt! Honestly im digging the yellow or red one but let's go earthy... so yeah cream, my favorite color too. There are some online stores selling this kind of summer shirt made from sateen.......? it's a NO. It supposed to be cotton don't they? it's a summer shirt, it should be absorbed your sweat. and some of them even have the most weird color combination like pink flamingo with a green leaves as a background like whatttttttttttttt? i can't. *sigh



So yeah, that's all. Im not a good story-teller but this seems so fun. I'll do it again next time! Ciao!
